Unfortunately for Kirby, it turns out it was a trap set up by Dedede Dedede ends up trapping Kirby in the back of his tank and continues driving up the mountain. Kirby then sees a platter of delicacies on the ground and chases after it. He starts to daydream about food, first watermelons, to which he recalls the angered citizen and refuses, but then he thinks of cake where he eats it, but it turns out it was his imagination. They chase Kirby all the way into the mountains, where he becomes hunger-struck. Astonished and enraged, the citizens form a mob and chase Kirby. Ironically, however, Kirby walks into the fields and eats a watermelon. One citizen complains that this was Kirby's doing, but Tiff says that he has no proof.
#EGGSCELLENT KNIGHT PATCH#
Everyone runs to the fields where they see a whole patch of watermelons destroyed. Suddenly, three Cappy kids come and say that the fields are ravaged. It appeared only once a century to Cappy Town to lay an egg and when the egg hatched, she'd leave and reappear 100 years later and repeat the process century after century." Curio then exclaims that Dyna Blade is searching for a place to lay her egg. He states that the Dyna Blade is "A bird of ancient times with wings that shone like the sun and claws as sharp as swords. Stunned, Professor Curio starts to tell the Cappies a story about the Dyna Blade. Suddenly, Tiff calls everyone to come and see an important discovery: a Dyna Feather. Tiff and Spikehead split up to see if they can find something, while Tuff bumps into Professor Curio. He replies that it isn't radioactive and Chief Bookem suggests that it may be a tornado, with Fololo & Falala agreeing.
Tiff then asks her dad, Sir Ebrum, if he had found out anything. Tiff, along with Spikehead, also investigates until Tuff comes along and says that the wind had blown down Kirby's house. The citizens of Cappy Town investigate the incident.
Dedede, amazed, tells Escargoon that they have just seen a legendary bird called the Dyna Blade. Suddenly, a huge black cloud shrouds Cappy Town and causes destruction, such as uprooting trees and causing the land to become barren, and even blowing away the mayor's sheep and demolishing Kirby's house. As Dedede inspects the birds (which are Shy-birds, Fly-birds, Blue-birds, Two-birds, Crazy-birds, and Lazy-birds), Escargoon notices that all the birds got scared and flew away. The episode starts off with King Dedede going bird watching with Escargoon trailing behind. However, the only differences, is that the fruit bowl is replaced with a pile of homefries, and the prize is a T-shirt instead of a trucker's hat.Spoiler alert: The following section contains plot-specific details. The person partaking in the challenge has under an hour to eat it, where if victorious, said person's party will eat for free. Like the Eggscellent Challenge, it consists of two biscuits, a dozen eggs, mushrooms, onions, chili and cheese. A similar challenge exists in the real world.The dungeon is a reference to the place where the holy grail was kept in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.Mordecai and Johnathan Kimble are the only two people known to have finished the meal.He then tells the challenger to pick the right hat, but if they choose the wrong one, the challenger will die. After eating one before time runs out, the challenger is warped to a dungeon-like place, where the Eggscellent Knight greets them. Their reward if they win the challenge is that they win a blue net trucker's hat that reads "I'M EGGSCELLENT" on it, and they eat for free. Mushrooms and peppers are added into the eggs. The Eggscellent dish is made up of 12 eggs with mushrooms and peppers, before being topped on with 4 cups of chili, 2 cups of American cheese, 2 biscuits on the side and a 5-pound bowl of fruit consisting of cantaloupe, watermelon and honey dew. The Eggscellent Challenge is the challenge where a person must consume a huge egg breakfast at Eggscellent.
